Welcome to Olu Bendega – Marketing Mind Making a Mark

Welcome to Olu Bendega, a personal blog that reveals secrets I’ve gained through the course of my career and in the workplace, showcases my passion for music and movies, my work in animation, my merchandise, details my journey through Christianity and most importantly, my podcast where I speak to both my Fathers.

“One dies truly not when one is laid in the ground, but when one’s name ceases to be mentioned. And so it is with this here pen that I attempt to leave my impression on the digital sands of time.”

Bendega, May 25th 2024.

What can you expect?

At Olu Bendega, I will be putting out content that spans across a wide array of interests:

  • Podcast: A 30-minute conversation between a father and his son about the Father. Posted weekly, both here and on the Youtube Channel.
  • Reviews: 3-4 minute long reads about releases that have caught our interest or attention, and why. This encompasses both movies and new music.
  • Workplace: Every now and then, the occasional gem about growth and sales will be mentioned, just so these decades of experience as a salesman aren’t wasted.
  • Write-Ups: There will often be random write-ups about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the truth about His resurrection. I am proudly Christian. I intend for that to be very clear. It cannot be hidden. A city set on a hill, and what not.
  • Merch: I make the most amazing t-shirts. You’ll see.
  • Animation: 30-second clips about songs, or ideas that I find interesting. Mostly showcasing unknown artists and bringing underground music to the fore.
  • Photography: A chance to see people, places, objects, products and the world at large, through my lens.

With time this will evolve into what it is meant to be, and that is a one-stop shop for all things Bendega. For now, let’s start with the word. I leave you with my favourite scripture of all time.

…and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you”

1 Thessalonians 4:11
